Success Stories

At Humanity’s Promise Int’l, we know that safe, clean water is more than a basic necessity—it’s the foundation for health, growth, and independence. Our latest initiative in Uganda has shown just how dramatically water can transform the future of a community.

For years, the farmland we cultivate and the nearby village—home to about 1,500 people—faced relentless challenges: drought, food shortages, and no reliable source of clean water. Each attempt at progress was met with setbacks, and self-sufficiency felt far out of reach.

The people of Arilo are very poor as the area does not have good soil and water. Starvation and early death is common among the people. As a Pastor and follower of Jesus Christ I felt that I must do more to help my people. There are many orphans in the area and there had been no available schools for children to learn.

Greetings and love from Kasese, Uganda. As we come towards the end of year 2023 I thought it would be a nice thing to write a few words expressing BIG THANKS to GOD and to Mr. John and Mamma Beverley and Humanity’s Promise for the GOOD things that you have done for the children and our family.

As a member of the Obbo Community in East Equatoria, in South Sudan, I, Peter Debong, the farm manager of the HPI Agricultural Apprentice Centre in Obbo would like to thank Humanity’s Promise Int’l along with it’s co-founders John and Beverley Bossuyt and all of the HPI Board Members.
