In many African nations such as South Sudan, natural resources remain untapped. Rich, fertile land is lying dormant or under-utilized because of a lack of modern farming equipment and inadequate agricultural learning opportunities. Regarding food security; South Sudan should not be a nation in need, but a nation of food producers and exporters.
Agricultural Apprentice Centre
South Sudan
At the Agricultural Apprentice Centre and Experimental Farm (AAC) these are interrelated. The HPI AAC is located in the Obbo region of South Sudan and is about 100 miles south east of the capital city of Juba.Â
Hope & Promise
Economically, South Sudan is among the most impoverished of all nations. In a nation with massive infastructure needs, basic human needs are in short supply. Hunger and malnutrition is common. Health care facilities with qualified health care providers are rare. In many rural areas, educational facilities are non existent.Â
Our Orphanages & School in Arilo
Arilo, South Sudan, is a small village about 2 hours NE of Juba, the capital of South Sudan. Almost entirely off the map, this village remains a place almost lost in time. The people remain highly primitive and in need of care and education. Your donations can offer the funds that HPI needs to properly clothe, feed and offer medical care to orphaned children in Arilo.Â
HPI NEEDS YOUR HELP
Providing the children in our orphanages with the proper care, nourishment and education that they require is no easy task for us. Any donation, great or small, will assist us in better care for this children. It is an around the clock job and responsibility.Â
