Donated used farm equipment is transported to the HPI Repair Facility for an overhaul.
A core strategic practice of Humanity’s Promise has been to reach out to the farming communities in Western Canada seeking donations of quality farm equipment deemed surplus or throw away which may no longer be of value in their farming operations. Equipment gathered in the West is transported to the HPI Repairs Facility to be reconditioned before being put to use in Africa.
Humanity’s Promise has experienced wonderful support with many donations of quality used farm equipment and requests to participate or partner with HPI to assist in the development of the agricultural industry in South Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya. HPI is confident of both a continuous supply of quality farm equipment and the transformation out of poverty for the village farmers.
